Board Responsibilties

The Board is expected to raise and responsibly administer funds,
contract and network with other agencies and individuals and develop
such policies and procedures as are necessary to accomplish its business.
It appoints committees, defines their responsibilities and monitors their progress.
It also supervises, advises and supports the Executive Director and her staff
Emphasis is placed on seating a diverse Board, which includes people of color,
from a variety of businesses, congregations, civic groups and with a wide
geographic representation.
