Food Donations
For a list of our Priority Canned Food Needs, click here.

A great deal of the food that we distribute in a year is donated food. We rely on the community to supply nutritious groceries for our families in crisis. Several large food drives are conducted each year: The Letter Carrier’s Food Drive in May, the Scott Health & Safety food drive in November, the Thanksgiving Food Drives in the schools and the Alvac Drive in December. Along with the steady contributions of private individuals and so many area churches, these drives provide the bulk of our food, but our food needs continue to grow as the number of families in crisis grows.

Donate to Our Pantry
You can donate food or checks directly to our pantry at St. Paul's Episcopal Church at the corner of Windsor and Curch Streets in Monroe. Click here for detailed directions.

Conduct a Food Drive
Organize a food drive at your work site or congregation. Or do a door to door collection in your subdivision or neighborhood. This is a great way to give back to the community and to raise awareness.. Click here for step by step instructions on how to conduct a food drive.

Matching Gifts
Double your financial donation by participating in your company’s matching gift program. Some companies, like Bank of America and Bell South make a financial contribution equal to their employees gifts. Check with your Human Resource Department for more information.
