Where
does your support come from?
Our funds and food
come directly form individuals, the postal workers annual collection,
local congregations, other church groups, schools, scouts
and local businesses, fraternal organizations, and independent
drives. And in 2008 and 2009 we applied for and received grants
from the Union County Community Foundation arm of the Foundation
for the Carolinas to update our operations and buy and install
a walk-in freezer. We also received grants from FEMA's Emergency
Food and Shelter Program to help with increasing costs and
demand for service.
